Side Round Pair
Side rounds are used to establish transition points that standard rounds can not reach. Rounds are used to establish the circumference of a circle while side rounds actually set that concavity into the wood, creating clearance for the appropriately sized round to follow.
M. S. Bickford makes two standard sizes: 3/8" and 5/8" radius. The smaller side rounds best serve the lower range of hollows and rounds while the larger size service the higher end of the range.
